Our Philosophy
Sustainable Tourism That Makes a Difference
One of our flagship initiatives is the Madagascar Young global citizens, created in partnership with École Eden Madagascar, connects international students and Malagasy youth through cultural exchange, environmental education, and community engagement. Through authentic encounters, biodiversity discovery, and conservation activities, this program inspires young people to become responsible global citizens while creating meaningful connections between cultures and showcasing the richness of Madagascar’s heritage.
1Education partner
École Eden Nosy-Be is a valued partner of Lemur Baobab Madagascar Tours, reflecting our shared commitment to building a more sustainable and inclusive future for Madagascar. We believe that responsible tourism should create lasting benefits beyond travel by investing in local communities and expanding access to quality education. Through this partnership, we support the development of Malagasy children by promoting learning, environmental awareness, cultural pride, and equal opportunities. Together, we share a vision of a Madagascar where tourism contributes not only to the conservation of the island's unique natural heritage but also to empowering the next generation through education, ensuring that every journey creates a meaningful and lasting positive impact for both people and nature.
2Women empowerment partner
At Lemur Baobab Madagascar Tours, we believe that women have a fundamental role to play in building stronger, more sustainable communities. Investing in women means investing in families, education, local economies, and the long-term development of communities. When women are empowered with opportunities, knowledge, and support, they become powerful agents of positive change. VEM (Viavy Epic Mada) is a valued partner of Lemur Baobab Madagascar Tours, united by a shared vision of empowering communities through education, women’s empowerment, cultural exchange, and sustainable development. Together, we created our special Women’s journey in Madagascar, an experience designed to celebrate the strength, creativity, and resilience of Malagasy women while creating meaningful connections between travelers and local communities. By choosing this journey, travelers do not only discover the beauty, traditions, and culture of Madagascar—they actively contribute to supporting women-led initiatives, educational opportunities, and community development projects. Through responsible tourism and our collaboration with VEM, every journey becomes an opportunity to create a lasting positive impact, empowering people while preserving Madagascar’s unique cultural and natural heritage.
3Training and Support for Local Tour Guides
Young tourist guides in Nosy Be and Ranomafana receive specialized training to improve language skills, safety, and responsible tourism practices. These trainings enable them to offer richer, professional experiences to visitors while creating sustainable jobs within their communities. Supporting this project helps finance training programs, educational materials, and necessary equipment, strengthening professional autonomy and enhancing the region's tourism appeal.
